I love this place. It's hard to find good cocktails, let alone good food to accompany it. The prices are super reasonable, and the service is always prompt. Small, intimate atmosphere with plenty of room if it's packed. I've never needed to make a reservation here, and have waited at most 20 minutes.

On a nice day, sit outside and enjoy an adult beverage. I usually go with a Manhattan and the carnitas tostaditas. My go to when I can't make up my mind on where to go.

    Highly recommend.

Our hostess/waitress was super nice and the place is very cute. That's where my positive review ends.
We ordered 2 glasses of wine for $12 each and we got a 1/4 of a glass, seriously the smallest pour I've ever seen.
Our dishes were all between $12 and $17 and they were merely ok. Small portions and little taste.
    Our total bill was $63.
One of my biggest pet peeve is to pay for food that is far worse than what I can make at home.
Fonda was disappointing. We won't return.

Reservations for date night on a Friday on 7 o clock were a good idea, a tapas place should be poppin on the weekend, and it was. The food was wonderful, appreciated the Game of Thrones and Westworld themed cocktails, I'll have to try one, settled for a good Malbec instead. Got dessert to go, wasn't let down at all. That was some thicc flan. Any place that makes it's own tortillas is probably gonna get other food choices correct too, and they did. Flautas de papa tho. Poc chuc tacos tho?!

    My one complaint?
LOUD. Probably too loud. I get it's close quarters, but the music made everyone louder which made the music louder. Not enough to detract a star, socially, tapas places should be just one step removed from a noisy bar anyway.

Will come again with more people for sure.

Some seriously killer margs, the bartender was slinging drinks all evening on a Monday night for happy hour and it was a lot busier than I expected. She recommended the crispy fish tacos and they were perfect! 2 per order and they use fresh tortillas heated on the griddle, and homemade aioli. I love the open kitchen, you can see the chefs making everything right there. I should have quit while I was ahead but wings were good also!

This is an excellent tapas restaurant!  I have had the pleasure of coming here since it first opened about 20 years ago.  The food is always top quality.  All of the dishes have a special attention to detail in the way they are prepared.  Even a staple like chips and guacamole are distinctive and addicting here!   Be sure to order the watermelon salad, best salad, mushroom empanadas, halibut tacos, and pork.  Recently they offered a seafood paella that was both beautiful and delicious.  They also have delicious handcrafted sodas/frescas.
